Paris Hilton's $1 million special day supercar: Millionaire socialite Paris Hilton has accelerated into her 30s this week with one of the world's fastest gifts. The hotel heiress's US millionaire boyfriend Cy Waits reportedly surprised her with a A$750,000 (NZ$997,000) Lexus LF-A supercar earlier this week for her 30th birthday. The 4.8-litre V10-powered LF-A, finished in distinctive Pearl Yellow paint, can reach a top speed of 325km/h.
UK news site The Mail Online reports the Lexus was given to Hilton by entrepreneur and nightclub owner Waits a day before her 30th birthday bash, which was held last night. The birthday surprise was filmed in front of cameras for Hilton's reality TV show, The World According to Paris. Just 500 of the two-seater Lexus supercars will be built.
Hilton isn't the first celebrity to receive an extravagant sports car for their birthday. Last year Rapper Jay-Z was given a A$2 million (NZ$2.6m) Bugatti Veyron supercar from his wife Beyonce for his 41st birthday.
