Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits were attacked last week on their way to a California courthouse where they were to testify against the man who broke into her home last year carrying two knives.

The couple were making their way towards the Van Nuys courthouse to testify against the accused, Nathan Parada, when a crazed man took a swing at the couple, missing Paris and hitting Cy in the back of the head. Protecting his girlfriend from the attacker, Cy continued into the courthouse seemingly unharmed, however, according to reports, Paris’ bodyguards immediately jumped in when they recognised the man as James Rainford, another stalker who was arrested in October after he was caught illegally trespassing on the socialite’s Beverly Hills property.
“I’ve already proposed to her and her dad already said ‘Yes,’” the attacker shouted out to reporters as police handcuffed him and took him away. “I wanted to get her to sign my picture of me proposing to her.”
Shaken up by the incident, Paris posted this message on Twitter, “That other psycho intruder just punched Cy in the back of the head as we were walking into the court house. So scary!”
