She became famous for living The Simple Life - but Paris Hilton found things became rather complicated as she prepared to launch her latest reality television show in Los Angeles last night. The 30-year-old star, who describes herself on her Twitter as 'Model, Actress, Singer, Brand, Business Woman, Fashion Designer, Author, Philanthropist and Empire' was about to premiere The World According To Paris at the posh Hotel Roosevelt when she suffered a clothing catastrophe. She explained: 'Brutal, just bent down to pick up my Louboutins and ripped my dress. FML.'
Luckily for Paris, she revealed that her friend and stylist Sammy is rather handy with a needle and thread - and was able to avoid the heiress from letting it all hang out last night.The beautiful silver bead and crystal embellished gown was a Tony Ward creation, from the Lebanese haute couture designers' spring/summer 2011 collection. Paris teamed with chic nude Louboutin stilettos - the shoes that were almost the villain of the piece last night.
It appears that Paris is definitely back on track with her former childhood best friend Nicole Richie, 29, too.
The two had a spectacular falling out inm 2005, though the reason why has never been divulged by either of them.
But they made up in 2006 and have continued rekindling their friendship - with mother-of-two Nicole congragulating Paris on the launch of her new show. Paris wrote: 'Dear NicoleRichie, thank you for the beautiful flowers. So thoughtful and sweet. Love you!' and posted up a picture of the impressive blooms. Paris's businessman boyfriend Cy Waits was also on the red carpet to support his girlfriend in her new venture, as were Paris's mother Kathy, 52, and sister Nicky, 27.
